A public ranking of places worth going.

travelmundus is a destination database: ranked lists, traveler ratings out of 10, photographs, and field guides in one place. A place's rank follows that average. When two averages match, the place with more ratings comes first.

Create an account to save places and publish reviews and ratings under your user ID. Every account starts with Favorite, Visited, and Tier list. Comments, ratings, places, and traveler photo locations live in a local SQLite database on this machine. Guides are practical notes — when to go, how to move, what to skip — and the trip planner can ask Grok for a custom itinerary when an xAI key is present.

Photographs belong with each destination. People with accounts can add their own, and uploading includes a confirmation that travelmundus is free to use the photo. Photographer credits stay on the picture.

This is the full travelmundus.com product. The older Express and MySQL prototype still lives next to this app if you need it.
